No smoking policy
Anyone who thinks that Hong Kong cafes and lounges are romantic smoky places where you can chill out with a drink in hand and a cigarette alight in the other will be in for a rude shock because a no smoking policy has been in force over Hong Kong since January 1, 2007. In fact, this no smoking policy covers many public areas inclusive of Hong Kong cafes and lounges, as well as restaurants.
Café TOO
At the Island Shangri-La Hong Kong hotel, you can find a cute little place called Café TOO. There are seven cooking theatres within Café TOO that each promotes its respective cuisine to awed diners. This helps Café TOO bring casual dining and awareness of international dishes to a new standard that other Hong Kong cafes and lounges need to live up to. Café TOO operates from six in the morning to one the next morning.
