Sha Tin Town Hall

Sha Tin Town Hall is the hub of cultural activity in Hong Kong. It nestles near the Shatin KCR train station, and the New Town Plaza shopping centre.

The renowned Hong Kong Art Festival is performed here. The venue has hosted Hong Kong Ballet, Cantonese Opera troupes, piano duos, physical theatre shows and artists- in- residence schemes.

This well designed complex can host a variety of programs. Besides hosting items related to culture, it can also be used for exhibitions and conferences. It comprises three major facilities: 1372- seat Auditorium, 300- seat Cultural Activities Hall, 378 Exhibition Gallery and other minor and ancillary facilities

It was established in 1987 and reflects its commitment to promote art and culture. It also acts as a platform where local artists can display their talent.

The Auditorium boasts of excellent facilities such as fine acoustics, unobstructed sightlines and sophisticated technical capabilities. The Exhibition Gallery is spacious, well- equipped and has a comfortable environment.
