Dickens Bar

It derives its name from one of the greatest English novelist of all times- - - - Charles Dickens. However there is nothing literary about this English bar. The bar is steeped in sports.

Its walls are adorned with sporting memorabilia. Sports lovers will be thrilled by the sight of renowned English cricketer Ian Botham's bat and Boris Becker's racket. Its timbered walls are graced with photographs of sportsmen from all over the world. An array of television screens brings you the pulsating excitement of live matches from various sporting arenas.

Situated in the Excelsior Hotel opposite the famous Noonday Gun, the Dickens Bar has a great atmosphere. On the menu you'll find plenty of what you expect from a traditional English pub, including a wide range of draft beers and full English breakfast favorites at the weekend. But perhaps one of their prime attractions is a curry buffet. It is served during lunchtime and is prepared by Indian chefs.
